INGREDIENTS

  • 7 Tomatoes
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 2 green chilies
  • 1 onion
  • 2Tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp Jeera
  • 1 tsp Heeng
  • 1 tsp peppercorns
  • 500 gms soaked Rice

Method 

  • Soak rice
  • Heat oil in a pan, add jeera , peppercorns, heeng , chopped onion , garlic & green chilies.
  • Let it brown
  • Now, add tomatoes & cook it till it wilts.
  • Close lid once water has reduced & it just covers the rice.
  • Let it cook on low flame
  • Serve hot, garnished with mint leaves.
