Thousand litres of water wasted due to leakage in water pipeline near Gotri water tank

Repair work underway to seal the leakage

A leakage in water pipeline near Gotri water tank leads to wastage of thousand litres of water on the road. As per the locals the incident happened for continuous 10th time in the month and still the line is not replaced by the corporation. Around 30 socities are affected due to the leakage in the line.

Water supply department officer Kaushik Parmar said the leakage is due to the old line and after five months once again the leakage was reported there. They are in process to seal the leakage and will be completed till evening.

However thousands litres of water was wasted due to the leakage and daily commuters find it difficult to passing from there. The locals also show their ire on the corporation for the incident which put the residents in trouble.
