The world’s largest cargo aircraft, Anton AN-225 Mriya landed at Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Airport today.The Aircraft is on its rout to Australia from Europe.

This biggest plane has a total of 32 wheels and 6 engines. This plane is only used once or twice a year to transport a heavy load. Antonov AN -225 Mriya has maximum take of load of 640 tonnes. It has capacity to carry a generator that weights 116 tonnes.

As per the Company website Antonov AN -225 Mriya was constructed during 1984-1988. Antonov AN -225 Mriya has spacious cargo compartment with the width of 6.4 meters, height of 4.4 meters and length of 43.32 meters.
