Till date 4354 people boarded 3 trains to Bihar
As per district collector instructions, a special labour train carrying 1761 tourists left for Muzaffarpur in Bihar today from Vadodara. The special trains are not allowed to for Patna and hence the district collector get permission about running the trains to other destinations to the state.
Deputy Collector RP Joshi said, the District Collector had got permission to run the train to other stations of Bihar after the train was not allowed to run for Patna. Earlier 2593 people board two trains departing for Katihar from Vadodara.
The third train departed for Bihar on Monday taking the total number of people to 4354. Bihar still needs 2 more trains. The district administration is coordinated about one train to leave for Jharkhand tomorrow. The passengers of Monday’s train to Bihar were given food packets, water bottles and dry snacks by the food committee.
