The CEO of Perplexity, Aravind Srinivas, said that young people need to spend less time scrolling through Instagram and more time learning about artificial intelligence (AI).

In the podcast interview with Matthew Berman, Srinivas said that mastering AI tools is now essential to stay relevant in the job market.

AI is developing at a rapid pace, with new advancements being announced every week.

He claimed that the speed at which humans can adapt is being tested by this rapid pace of AI technologies.

He pointed out that “the human race has never been extremely fast at adapting” and that those who don’t keep up run the risk of losing their grip on the job market.

The CEO of Perplexity also added that AI will likely replace some jobs; however, it may also create new opportunities. Srinivas also encouraged the youth to embark on entrepreneurship or join companies that are embracing AI.
