Cricket, Mumbai Indians beat Gujarat Titans by 5 runs in a last-over thriller at Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai last night.
Put into bat, Mumbai Indians made 177 for 6 in stipulated 20 overs and then restricted the Gujarat Titans to 172 for 5 to win the match.
Tim David's Unbeaten 44 and Ishan Kishan's 45 helped Mumbai to set a challenging total against the Titans.
Murugan Ashwin took 2 wickets for 29 runs, while Daniel Sams brilliantly defended 9 runs in the final over for Mumbai.
Gujarat's Wriddhiman Saha and Shubman Gill contributed 55 and 52 runs respectively while Rashid Khan picked up two wickets by giving away 24 runs.
Tim David was adjudged player of the match.
