Apple is planning to launch new products in 2024 and the iPhone 16 series is just a part of it.

According to recent reports, the tech giant will release the new version of the Mac Mini, which is powered by an M4 chip focusing on AI power.

In a report, Mark Gurman also confirms that the upcoming desktop computer will be the smallest one so far and will feature the first major design change since 2010.

The report also revealed that the new device will be significantly more compact than its predecessor, with a size comparable to that of an Apple TV streaming device.

The Apple TV box, meanwhile, is about 3.7 inches across.

Adding to the list of firsts, Gurman said that this is the first time Apple will be using the same chip generation for all Macs.

The M4 chipset is designed to support AI features, which will arrive in October, this year.

Powered by the M4 chipset, Apple is focused on making its devies even more compact. However, Gurman confirmed that even though the upcoming computer is the smallest, it will still be taller than the current version, which is 1.4 inches high.

The Mac Mini will have a aluminium shell.

The report claims that the new Mac Mini is essentially an iPad Pro in a small box.

This approach takes advantage of the lower power requirements of the company’s in-house silicon.
