The decision was announced days after the party opened telephone lines for people of Punjab to suggest names for their preferred chief ministerial candidate.
The members are anticipated to be released in the evening from the Sabarmati Central Prison.
They are all charged under 22 provisions of the Indian Penal Code, including criminal conspiracy, as well as the Epidemic Diseases Act and the Prevention of Damage to Public Property Act.
