Newly Married Woman Dies by Suicide in Surat, Police Launch Probe
In a shocking incident reported from the Subhashnagar area of Surat, a newly married woman allegedly died by suicide just two months after her wedding. The deceased has been identified as Khyati Kejriwal, daughter-in-law of a well-known trader family associated with the plastic granules business.
According to initial reports, the incident occurred on April 21 when Khyati was found hanging in the bedroom on the third floor of her bungalow. Family members grew concerned when she did not come out of her room for several hours. Using a spare key, they entered the room and discovered her hanging with a dupatta. She was immediately rushed to the Civil Hospital, where doctors declared her dead.
Upon receiving information, a team from Umra Police reached the spot and initiated an investigation. The body has been sent for postmortem examination. Police officials confirmed that no suicide note has been recovered so far, and the exact reason behind the incident remains unclear.
Authorities have registered a case of accidental death and are probing all possible angles. Further investigation is underway to determine the circumstances that led to the tragic incident.
