Exchange sweets took study tour and get to know marine security
Continue the initiative for consecutive third year the students from Vadodara celebrate Diwali with soldiers at Gujarat border and exchange wishes and sweets with them. They also get the chance to interact with the people living on the edge in villages of border area.
The students celebrate the festival of lights with soldiers and officials of BSF, coast guard and Marine Police guarding the waters at Jakhau port in Kutch by exchanging sweets and informal talk with them. The students later took a study tour of border villages and interacted with people. They also get to know about marine security and vessels available there.
The initiative was started by Rangam Trivedi where they celebrate diwali with soldiers at Indo Pak border to make them feel like home. In 2016 they celebrate diwali at Vighakot border followed by Nadabet in 2017. This year they celebrate the festival at Jakhau Sea port.
