Student organisations demand cancellation of online exams

The online examination of Commerce faculty has started from December 14 where students are appeared online for their papers. However on the second day the students could not take the exam due to the question of internet connectivity. The student organisations on Wednesday approached the head office on the matter and demand to cancel the exam.

On Wednesday the students of Commerce Faculty appeared online for their exams failed to login due to connectivity issues. Learning the matter the student groups reached the head office demanding cancellation of on-line examination. Following the protest by the students, Registrar K.M. Chudasama rushed to meet them.

Registrar said about 93 per cent students have appeared for the exam on the first day of the online exam and today due internet connectivity they failed to join and given additional time. However university planned for re examination those who don’t appear in the online exam. The problem is due to global internet connectivity and nothing with the university server.

Student leaders Hardik Nai, Pradip Rabari, Harshit Rabari and others demand cancellation of online exams and threaten to intensify their agitation.
