State Monitoring Cell seized 12.45 lakhs worth foreign liquor and three cars from Raipura village border near the city of Vadodara. The police also arrested five bottlegers from the spot and declared the main accused wanted as he managed to escape from the spot.

According to the information Gujarat State Monitoring Cell received the information about a liquor consignment of notorious bootleger Kalu Topi from Warasiya was landed at Govind colony at Raipur village border. The team based on the information the State Monitoring Cell with the help from Vadodara Taluka police and SRP raid at the spot.

IMG-20170131-WA0007There was chaos like situation after the raid as the liquor was transferred from one to vehicle to the other. However the police managed to arrest five bootlegers Prakash alias Vikki Chandrakumar Jaisinghani, Pankaj Pargi, Sanjaysingh Rajput, Kailashchandra Mahida and Vinodgiri Goswami from the spot.

IMG-20170131-WA0013During the Interrogation they confirm the liquor consignment is of Kalu Topi Telwani and Manoj Papad. Police declared both the accused as wanted and hunt is on to nab them.

IMG-20170131-WA0015Police recovered seven mobiles, cash, 234 boxes of liquor and two vehicles a total of 28,86,270 from the spot.

Taluka police is further investigating.
