Tokyo Olympics 2020 Day 9 Updates: Satish Kumar beaten by Bakhodir Jalolov

Boxer Satish Kumar has lost in the quarterfinals of the Tokyo Olympics.Boxer Bakhodir Jalolov of Uzbekistan defeated Satish 5-0 in the quarterfinals.Satish defeated Jamaican boxer Ricardo Brown in the pre-quarter final match.Earlier, No. 1 Amit Pandhal was knocked out in the pre-quarterfinals. However, before the match, Satish Kumar was injured and had stitches,yet he landed in the ring for the confrontation. He could not dominate Jalolov in three rounds.

Satish Kumar defeated Ricardo Brown of Jamaica in the final-16 match of the 91 kg category. He won the match 4-1. Satish won the first round 5-0, the second and third round 4-1. But in the final-8 match, Satish had no answer to Bakhodir Jalolov's attack. However, he was playing safe due to injury.
