The team has informed International Cricket Council (ICC), though unofficially, that they were not provided with hot food after their practice session and was instead served custom sandwiches.

Reports added that the after-practice food included custom sandwiches with fruits and falafel. The ICC is providing food during the T20 World Cup 2022.

This could be because the ICC wasn't providing any hot food after lunch as per their norms. In a bilateral series, the host association is in charge of catering and always provide hot Indian meals after a training session.

Besides, the team is also not thrilled about the venue offered for the practice session.

Team India dropped out of the practice session as they were offered a venue in Blacktown, a suburbs of Sydney, which is approximately 45 minutes away from the Team Hotel where they are staying.

Meanwhile, India will play the Netherlands next at the iconic Sydney Cricket Ground on Thursday.

India has had a successful start in its campaign at the T20 World Cup with against Pakistan.

Virat Kohli was adjudged the 'Man of the Match' for his unbeaten 82 that secured a thrilling win for India.
