The match will start at 1:30 PM Indian Time. New Zealand is in the top position in Group 1 with 3 points, while Sri Lanka is in 5th position in the same group with 2 points.
Both the matches scheduled yesterday were washed out. The much-hyped clash between Australia and England at Melbourne was abandoned without a ball being bowled due to rain.
Ireland versus Afghanistan match was also washed out and all four sides got a point each in their hunt for a place in the semi-finals.
