South Africa pulled off a seven wicket win against India in the first Twenty-20 International match at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi last night.

Batting first, India set a 212-run target for the visitors in the first of the five match series.

Opener Ishan Kishan made a quick fire 76 runs. India vice-captain Hardik Pandya contributed with unbeaten 31 while Shreyas Iyer scored 36.

For South Africa, Rassie van der Dussen and David Miller played knocks of 75 and 64 respectively to register a comfortable seven-wicket win with 5 balls to spare.

David Miller was adjudged player of the match for his alround performance. Earlier, Proteas won the toss and elected to field.

The two teams will play subsequent matches in Cuttack on 12th, Visakhapatnam on 14th, Rajkot on 17th and the last one in Bengaluru on 19th of this month.
