In Badminton, Indian Shuttler Lakshya Sen has advanced to Men’s Singles pre-quarter finals of the BWF Arctic Open 2024 in Vantaa, Finland today.
The Ace Indian progressed to the next round, after his opponent Rasmus Gemke of Denmark withdrew from the first round, granting him a walkover.
Sen will face the winner of the match between Chou Tien Chen of Taiwan and Arnaud Merkle of France in the pre-quarters.
Another Indian shuttler, Kiran George will face Wang Tzu Wei of Taiwan, this afternoon in the men’s singles round of 32. Kiran entered the main draw after defeating the French shuttler Lucas Calarebout, 21-16, 13-21, 21-19 in his qualifying round clash yesterday.
