Due to persistent rain in Ahmedabad last night, the final match between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Gujarat Titans (GT) postponed to be played today at 07:30 PM at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
Around 11 PM last night, Indian Premier League took to Twitter and announced that the final has been moved to the reserve day.
This is the first time in IPL history that a summit clash has moved to a reserve day.
As the rain was persistent it was no clarity over the start time for the IPL final between four-time winners Chennai Super Kings and defending champions Gujarat Titans. If MS Dhoni's CSK manage to win the final, it will be their fifth IPL title.
Hardik Pandya's Gujarat, on the other hand, will look to successfully defend their championship. The tickets bought for the abandoned game will however be applicable for the match today.
