IPL 2022: Kolkata Knight Riders beat Mumbai Indians by 52 runs

Cricket, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) defeated Mumbai Indians (MI) by 52 runs at Dr. DY Patil Sports Academy in Navi Mumbai last night.
This is Rohit Sharma-led Mumbai Indian's ninth defeat in the ongoing 15th edition of the IPL.
While for Kolkata, their 5th win in 12 matches have kept their 2022 campaign alive.
Chasing a target of 166 runs, Mumbai Indians (MI) were bowled out for 113 in 17.3 overs with Pat Cummins taking three wickets for KKR. Ishan Kishan with 51 was the top scorer for Mumbai Indians.
Earlier, Mumbai Indians won the toss and chose to field first. Batting first, Venkatesh Iyer and Nitish Rana's 43 each for Kolkata and a quick unbeaten 23 by Rinku Singh guided Kolkata Knight Riders to a respectable total of 165 for 9 in the stipulated 20 overs.
Jasprit Bumrah was in top form for Mumbai Indians and bagged a five-wicket haul. He was declared Player of the Match.
