In Women's Singles, two-time Olympic medallist PV Sindhu will open her campaign against local favourite Gregoria Mariska Tunjung.
In the Men’s Singles, World number 8 and seventh seed HS Prannoy, who won the Malaysia Masters last month, will face Japan’s World No. 11 Kenta Nishimoto in his first-round match.
India’s Men’s Doubles pairs of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty will play France's Christo Popov and Toma Junior Popov while MR Arjun and Dhruv Kapila will be up against Malaysia's Ong Yew Sin and Teo Ee Yi.
In Women's Doubles, Treesa Jolly and Gayatri Gopichand will meet Japan's Rin Iwanaga and Kie Nakanishi.
The Indonesia Open is the third Badminton World Federation Super 1000 event of the season after the Malaysia Open and the All-England Open. The tournament will conclude on 18th of this month.
