Indian Contingent to begin their campaign in first rounds of  WTT contender in Rio De Janeiro

In Table Tennis, the Indian contingent will begin their campaign in the first rounds of the WTT Contender in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil today. 

In men’s singles round of 32, India’s Manav Vikash Thakkar will face Hugo Calderano of the host country, while Harmeet Desai will take on Jules Rolland of France.

In men’s double pre-quarters, Indian duo of Manush Utpalbhai Shah and Manav Vikash Thakkar will face Henrique Noguti and Joon Shim of Brazil.

In women’s doubles pre-quarters, India’s Diya Parag Chitale and Selena Selvakumar will take on Oceane Guisnel and Stephanie Loeuillette of France.

In mixed doubles pre-quarters, the duo of Harmeet Desai and Selena Selvakumar will lock horns with Marcos Madrid and Arantxa Cossio Aceves of Mexico, while another Indian pair of Manush Utpalbhai Shah and Diya Parag Chitale will play against Tomokazu Harimoto and Hina Hayata of Japan.
