The hosts have now taken a 2-0 lead in the four-match series, beating the visitors by 6 wickets in the second test in the four match series of the Trophy at Arun Jaitley Stadium today. 

India scored 118 runs. This is the second time in a row that India have beaten Australia in a Test match within three days.

With the win, India have retained the Trophy. India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja took 10 wickets in the match. He was declared Man of the match.

Australia was all out for 113 runs in their second innings, setting India a victory target of 115. For India, spinner Ravindra Jadeja (7-42) took his career's best and devastated Australia. Between Ravindra Jadeja (7-42) and Ravichandran Ashwin (3-59), the spinners shared the 10 wickets putting Australia on a sticky wicket.

Australia suffered another embarrassing collapse losing nine wickets for 52 runs to all. With this, there is little hope that it had of a rare victory on Indian soil.
