India to resume their first innings play against England on second day on first Test of five-match series

In Cricket, India will resume their first innings play at the overnight score of 119 for one against England on the second day of the first Test of a five-match series at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad this morning.

Led by the young Yashasvi Jaiswal's effort, India posted 119 runs on the board at the end of play on Day one while losing only one wicket in the form of skipper Rohit Sharma.

Earlier, England were all out for 246 in their first innings after English captain Ben Stocks won the toss and decided to bat first. 

Stokes was the highest scorer for his team with 70 runs.

For India, R. Aswin and Ravinder Jadeja picked up three wickets each while Jasprit Bumrah and Axar Patel bagged two each.
