India has clinched 35 medals- 10 gold, 12 silver, and 13 bronze at the ongoing Asian Para Games in Hangzhou, China so far. Today, the athletes added 17 more medals to their kitty.
The latest medals were collected in the Men's Discus Throw. Sweeping all three medals, Neeraj Yadav bagged gold, Yogesh Kathuniya claimed silver and Muthuraja won bronze.

Dual glory was brought to the country in Men's 10 metre Air Pistol SH1 event with Rudransh Khandelwal securing the silver and Manish Narwal bringing the bronze home. This is the second medal for the 16-year old Khandelwal at the ongoing games.
Ajay Kumar made the country proud by securing the silver medal in Men's 400 metre in T64 category, while Deepthi Jeevanji broke the games record with a blazing time of 56.69 seconds in the women's 400 metres T20 category.

Similarly in men's Para Canoeing, Manish Kaurav won a bronze medal in the KL3 category. India's top para athlete, Simran, showed exceptional talent in women's 100 metres to grab the silver medal today.
In a series of social media posts, Prime Minister Narendra Modi lauded the performance of Indian medalists in the 4th Asian Para Games in Hangzhou, China. India has sent a contingent of 303 athletes who are participating across 17 disciplines at the Asian Para Games.
The country is hoping to surpass their best performance of 72 medals at the 2018 event in Indonesia, consisting of 15 gold, 24 silver and 33 bronze medals.
