India have become the number one team in the Men's ICC T20 International team rankings for the first time in six years after its 3-0 series win over West Indies in Kolkata yesterday. India surpassed England which had 269 rating points to take the top spot.

It previously held the reigns over the Format under Mahendra Singh Dhoni's leadership from 12th February to 3rd May in 2016. In this way, Rohit Sharma has become the second captain to take India to the number one position.
