India have put a formidable first-innings total of 428 runs against England on Day 2 of one-off Test in Mumbai. 

In reply, the visitors were at 131 runs in 32.4 overs for 8 in their first innings in the post-lunch session a short while ago.

Earlier, resumed their first innings at an overnight score of 410 runs for 7, Hosts were bowled out for 428, adding just 18 runs. 

On the opening day yesterday, the hosts piled up a huge 410 runs at the end of the play.

With this, India became the second-ever Women's team in 88 years to score 400 runs in a single day of a Test match. England made the record in 1935.

Earlier, India women's team skipper Harmanpreet Kaur won the toss and opted to bat first.
