In Pune Open tennis, Niki Poonacha to face Australia's Dane Sweeny in Men's Singles quarterfinal

In Pune Open Tennis, Niki Kaliyanda Poonacha will face the Australian Dane Sweeny in the Men's singles quarterfinal this evening. 

He entered the quarter-finals, upsetting his compatriot Sumit Nagal 6-4, 6-3 in the pre-quarters yesterday.

Earlier in the Men's singles Quarterfinals today, India's M. Sasikumar faced a defeat against Adam Walton of Australia in a walkover.

In Doubles Semifinals, Indian duo of Ramkuamr Ramanathan and Saketh Myneni will face the Australian pair Tristan Schoolkate and Adam Walton at 3 PM.

Later, another Indian pair Jeevan Nedunchezhiyan and Arjun Kadhe will face Dan Added of France and Chung Yun-Seong of South Korea in the Doubles Semifinals.

Ramkumar and Saketh beat the Croatian Duje Ajduković and Italian Enrico Dalla Valle in a tough game by 6-2, 7-6, 10-2, while Jeevan and Arjun defeated the German pair Jakob Schnaitter and Mark Wallner by 6-4, 7-6.
