HS Prannoy enters second round of Syed Modi International Tournament

HS Prannoy on Tuesday began India's campaign with a victory in Syed Modi International Tournament in Lucknow. He defeated Ukraine's Danylo Bosnuik in straight games in the opening round 21-14, 21-18 in Men's Singles.

In Women's Singles, Aakarshi Kashyap beat Mugdha Agrey 21-13, 21-14. Two-time Olympic medallist PV Sindhu will face compatriot Tanya Hemanth on Wednesday.
