The love storey of Cristiano Ronaldo and his current girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez is the envy of the entire globe. Georgina, a lingerie model, shared her storey of rising from poverty in Madrid to superstardom alongside football legend Cristiano Ronaldo.

Georgina, an Argentinean, stated in a Netflix documentary that meeting the Portuguese celebrity altered her life. Georgina revealed how difficult life was after she moved to Spain from Argentina. She added that finding inexpensive apartments was tough for her, and she eventually had to settle for a storage room.

"My arrival in Madrid was horrible. I was looking at a lot of cheap flats, which cost around £250-a-month and ended up in a flat that had been a storage room. It was freezing cold in winter and baking hot in summer," Georgina said in an upcoming Netflix documentary.

In 2015, the five-time Ballon d'Or winner broke up with Russian model Irina Shayk after a five-year relationship and began dating Rodriguez in 2016. Ronaldo and Spanish model Rodriguez received their first child, Alana Martina, in 2017 and announced their pregnancy with twins last October.

"My life changed the day I met Cristiano Ronaldo. Before I sold handbags in Serrano. Now I collect them," Georgina said.

Reflecting on her journey in an earlier promo, Georgina said, "It's very important not to forget where I come from. Whenever I think of the children I always get emotional."

The film will be released on January 28, the same day as the Argentine model's 28th birthday. Georgina has 29.2 million Instagram followers.

Ronaldo said on ITV's Cristiano Ronaldo Meets Piers Morgan that his magnificent strike against Juventus does not compare to his time in the box with Rodriguez.

"No, not (when compared) with my Geo, no!" Ronaldo told former Good Morning Britain co-host Morgan. "I tried to score this goal for many, many years. I had scored 700-odd goals, but I hadn't done this," he added.
