French Open Badminton:Indian Men's Doubles pair of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty to face Chinese Taipei combination Yang Po-han and Lee Jhe-huei in Summit Clash

In the French Open Badminton Men's doubles category, the Indian pair of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy-Chirag Shetty stormed into the finals, after defeating Korea’s Kang Min Hyuk-Seo Seung Jae in Paris last night.

In the semi-finals, the world No. 1 Indian pair beat reigning world champions pair in straight games 21-13, 21-16. 

The pair will now face Yang Po-han and Lee Jhe-huei of Taiwan today. The match will start this evening.

On the other hand, in the men’s singles semi-finals, Lakshya Sen lost against world No. 8 Kunlavut Vitidsarn of Thailand 21-19, 13-21, 11-21.

A semi-final appearance at the French Open will also fetch Sen's crucial ranking points for the Paris 2024 Olympics.
