FIFA has prohibited the sale of alcohol inside or around the perimeter of stadiums in Qatar after last-minute showdown talks, just two days before the tournament.
FIFA said that the decision was made following discussions with the host country authorities.
However, they mentioned that an alcohol-free beverage would remain available at all Qatar's World Cup stadiums.
The World Cup was awarded to Qatar back in 2010. It is scheduled to take place from 20th November to 18th December .
