PV Sindhu and H.S. Prannoy stormed into the quarter-finals of Malaysia Open in Kuala Lumpur today. Sindhu beat Thailand's Phittayaporn Chaiwan 19-21 21-9 21-14 in the second round clash.
Sindhu will next clash with Taiwanese Tai Tzu Ying in the semifinals.
Continuing his dream run, H.S. Prannoy defeated World No. 4 Chou Tien Chen of Chinese Taipei 21-15 21-7 in the Men's Singles. Prannoy will now play Jonatan Christie of Indonesia for a place in the semis.
The men's doubles pair of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty and former Commonwealth Games champion Parupalli Kashyap will also be in action today.
