Badminton: Kidambi Srikanth Srikanth, Dhruv-Tanisha pair advance to Malaysia Masters Quarterfinals

In badminton, India’s Kidambi Srikanth and the mixed doubles pair of Dhruv Kapila and Tanisha Crasto have advanced to the quarterfinals of the Malaysia Masters in Kuala Lumpur.

While in mixed doubles, Dhruv Kapila and Tanisha Crasto battled past France’s Julien Maio and Léa Palermo in a thrilling three-game match, winning 21-17, 18-21, 21-15 to book their spot in the last eight.

Meanwhile in another Men’s Singles pre-quarterfinal, Ayush Shetty bowed out of the tournament after going down to France’s Toma Popov, 13-21, 17-21.

Another Indian, Sathish Karunakaran, also exited the competition, losing to Christo Popov of France, 14-21, 16-21.
