Badminton Asia Team Championships 2024: Indian Women's Team reach finals after defeating Japan 3-2

In the Badminton Asia Team Championships 2024, the Indian Women's Team reached the finals by defeating Japan 3-2 in the semi-finals in Malaysia.

With this, India has secured the Silver medal, but they will definitely eye for the gold.

The Indian women shuttlers will play the final match of the championship tomorrow at 07:30 AM IST at Selangor.

In today's match against Japan, Olympic gold medalist PV Sindhu lost the first game. After this, the pair of Treesa Jolly and Gayatri Gopichand Pullela made a come-back and won in the double's category, followed by another win by Ashmita Chaliha in single's category. In the fourth game, the Japanese pair defeated India's Ashwini Ponnappa and PV Sindhu 2-0.

Then in the deciding match, Anmol Kharb defeated Japan's Natsuki Nidaira by 2-0 and registered an important victory.
