This biennial event will conclude on the 18th of this month.

The winners of this championship will be considered as the Asian qualifier for Thomas and Uber Cups - the badminton world men's and women's team championships, scheduled to take place in Chengdu, People's Republic of China from the 28th of April to the 5th of May this year.
