At Hanghzou Asian Games in China, India amassed a total of historic 83 medals, including 20 gold, 31 silver, and 32 bronze, India is currently in fourth place in the overall medal tally.

This is India's best-ever performance at the Asian Games surpassing the previous best of 70 medals at the 18th edition Asian Games in Jakarta.

In Squash, Indian mixed doubls pair Dipika Pallikal and Harinder Pal Singh Sandhu clinched gold medal after defeating Malaysian pair.

In Archery, Indian trio Jyoti, Parneet and Aditi secure Gold in the women team compound event prevailing over Chinese Taipei with a scoreline of 230-228 while Indian men's compound Archery team advanced to the semifinal by defeating Bhutan in the Quarterfinal.

In a shocker, women's 50kg wrestler Pooja Gehlot lost 6-9 to the wrestler from Canada in semifinal.

She will now play the bronze medal match meanwhile Mansi in 57kg category displayed sheer determination, securing a briliant victory against Bark Jeongae from the Republic of Korea with a score of 2-0.

In Badminton, Indian shuttler H.S. Pranoy breezed past Malaysia's Lee Zii Zia to enter the semifinals.

Later today, we have a total of four bronze medal matches lined up in wrestling.

In Squash, Saurav Ghosal will aim for an elusive gold in men's singles action this afternoon.

The women's hockey team will also lock horns with the hosts China in the semifinal, at 1:30 PM today.

Additionally, in today's lineup of events wrestling, roller skating, Kabaddi and Chess are areas where India hold strong expectation for success.
