In the women's section, Diya started the game for the Indian team against Nepal’s Sikka Shrestha.
The Indian paddler established her dominance with a victory margin of 11-1, 11-6, and 11-8 in the first game.
Ayhika and Sutirtha stepped in to face Nabita Shrestha and Evana Thapa Magar of Nepal in the second and third match.
Ayhika stole away the second game with a victory margin of 11-3, 11-7, and 11-2 while Sutirtha did not even allow Evana to breathe for a single moment as she made the scoreline read 11-1, 11-5 and 11-2.
In the men's section, Harmeet Desai's dominant 3-0 win against Ismoilzoda capped off a 3-0 triumph for the Indian men's table tennis team over Tajikistan.
In the first game, Manav Thakkar beat Mahmudova with a score of 11-8, 11-5, and 11-8.
Manush Shah opens the 2nd match with a 13-11 win against Sultonovu, trampling the opponent with a score of 11-7 and 11-5 in the second and third matches.
With this stellar performance, both men's and women's Table Tennis teams have advanced to the pre-quarterfinals.
