Done Ganesha decoration using school stationary

A Soni family in Vadodara decorated their Ganesha with school stationery which can be used by the students coming from poor families and can’t afford the cost of these materials. The family decides to distribute the items after the visarjan on 10th day of Ganeshotsav.

Like every year the family installed lord Ganesha made from clay in their house for 10 days. Like everyone they also decorated the place but something in unique way. They used school stationary like notebooks, pencils, erasers and sharpners for decoration. Radhika Soni from the family said they used the items to built a three floor school with an aim to help the students coming from poor families. The stationeries will be distributed to them after the immersion of idols on the 10th day of festival.

They used 100 piece of notebooks, 1700 Wax Crayons, 1500 erasers, 600 pencils and fifty pieces of sharpners. The decoration area is 6/4 and the aim is to educate children and not push them into labour work. Last year they done the decoration on environment theme.
