Inauguration of Rooftop-Solar Power Plant at NAIR

Rajeev Gupta, Director General- National Academy of Indian Railways (NAIR) and Amit Kumar Singh, DRM Vadodara Division inaugurated the 10 KWp Solar Rooftop Power Plant at National Academy of Indian Railways-Vadodara on 20th October 2016 (today).

Rajeev Gupta told Railway Officers of the division and Faculty present at the event that this is in continuation the Railways policy of harnessing green energy. In April 2016, a demo wind turbine of 650 W was installed in the same campus. This solar plant will generate electricity worth Rs. 1 lakhs every year.
