Buttermilk distributed in collaboration with Baroda Dairy
A large number of relatives gathered outside the corona ward at SSG hospital everyday to check the well being of patients. As the summer sets in the scorching heat taking it’s toll on them as they find it difficult to stand there and search for some shade area.
To help them from the heat and make them comfortable while waiting there, various steps has been taken by the administration. On instructions of administrative nodal officer Dr. O.B. Belim, a shed is raised there along with chairs and drinking water for the relatives waiting outside. On Monday buttermilk was also distributed in collaboration with Baroda Dairy.
With the facility of the administration now managed to minimise the from the entrance. A token system has been introduced so that relatives who want to talk to patients can wait here for their turn rather then standing at the counter.
More than 110 relatives have taken advantage of this and people are very relieved by the arrangements including the shed.
