Main objective of NGO is to spread ideology and values of Dr Shyama Prasad Mukharjee along with spiritual, social, educational and sports activities.

Shyama Prasad Mukharjee Foundation construct a Maa Bhavatarini Kali Bari in Vadodara as a first step to their various activities. The The main objective of this NGO is to spread the ideology and values of Dr Shyama Prasad Mukharjee to Indian society along with spiritual, social, educational and sports activities.

SPMF is a non-profit making Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) incorporated under Section 7 of the Companies Act, 2013. As a first step the foundation has initiated to construct a templein the name of MAA BHAVATARINI KALI BARI at the premises of ‘Akarsh’-Tower B.Laxmipura Road, Gotri in Vadodara. The Kali Bari will accomplish the need of spiritual worship of Goddess Kali.

The Kali Bari will also offer low cost boarding and lodging for the people from outside
Vadodara visiting the town for various needs like medical, educational, searching for jobs.The Pran Pratishta Mahotsav of the Kali Bari was already done on the auspicious occasion of Diwali.

Goddess Addya Shakti Mahamaya Maa Kali is the Primary strength of Almighty God Lord Shiva., Maa Kali “Mahashakti or woman power” is imagined as consort of Lord Shiva.

Maa Bhavatarini Dakshina Kali Rupa of Mahashakti is like Mahalaxmi giving boon to all human being after killing enemy of humanity and all evil beings and protecting good human beings.

Maa BHAVATARINI KALI is worshiped in world renowned Dakshineshwar Temple, at Kolkata, built by great spiritual and devotional lady “RANI RASMANI DEVI” between the years 1847 & 1855. Spiritual Guru of Swami Vivekananda, Shri Ramakrishna Paramahansa attained moksha in Dakshineshwar Temple realising Mahamaya Bhavatarini Kali.

It was a dream of the Maa Shakti followers and upashaks of Vadodara to build a KALI BARI here. MAA Bhavatarini Kali Bari (Temple), Vadodara has been built by the Shyamaprasad Mukharjee Foundation.

Special features of this Kali Mandir:-
The Mata Idol is created out of Kasthi Patthar, a one piece special stone, sourced from Munger, Bihar and is created by a renowned sculptures at Kolkata under supervision of Tushar Maharaj of Ramkrishna Mission.v

Shiva Linga is created out of Jamdani Kasthi Pattar.v

The Ganapati idol is created in symmetry with Siddhi Vinayak.v

Shri Ramkrishana Paramhans and Sharada Maa statue is also part of the temple feature.v

The temple is open for all human beings.v
