Two aircraft carriers, fighter jets and ten other warships from RAN, Indian Navy, JMSDF and US Navy took part
The second phase of high tempo Malabar 2020 Exercise with two aircraft carriers, fighter jets and ten other warships from RAN, Indian Navy, JMSDF and USNavy concluded on 20 November 2020.
The navies participated in advance surface and anti-air firings, anti-submarine exercises and coordinated air operations. Seamless coordination and swift execution were displayed by the participating forces across all three dimensions, air, surface and sub-surface.
These complex exercises have further enhanced synergy and mutual understanding amongst the four navies in undertaking joint maritime security operations and will go a long way in further strengthening their already close strategic partnership.
