Safety Seminar at MEMU shed Vadodara yard

Approximately 150 persons participated including staff, supervisors and Officers

Safety Seminar was organized at MEMU shed, Vadodara yard under the chairmanship of Divisional railway manager. Approximately 150 persons participated including staff, supervisors & Officers on the occasion.

Other than DRM, DEE(MEMU)/BRC, Sr. DME/BRC, Sr.DSO/BRC, Sr. DEN(TRACK)/BRC, ADME(MEMU)/BRC , ADSO/BRC, APO(Elec),ADSTE/BRC remain present at the safety seminar. DRM and the participants shared their experience on Safety.

Following points were discussed during the seminar:

A. Emphasis on personal safety and equipment safety was given during the working in shed.

B. Under frame safety and care taken during working on MEMU roof, fire, accidents were also discussed.

C. Several staffs, supervisors and officers also shared their views on safety related issues like shunting,crane working,underframe checking, electrical faults,OHE isolation etc. They told that in BRC shed all safety precautions are being taken during working.

D. DRM during his speech emphasized especially on personal safety and safety to be taken in work centres ,better organisation of tools, equipment,safety awareness among staffs ,and told that this will help in further improvement in performance of MEMU shed.

E. Tree plantation was also done by DRM and all other officers in the newly developed garden of shed

At the end Cash award was also given to 15 staffs of MEMU BRCY on the spot for their safety consciousness.
