Around three robbers beat and tied a caretaker of Amba Mata temple in Vadodara and steal jewellery and cash from there. It is to be mentioned that the jewellery was from Bagasara and the robbers only get the cash from the vault.
The Ambamata temple located at Samta crossing is owned by Varshabahen Ranjitsinh Chauhan. 75 years Sarojben Patel, has been living in the temple for years and is the caretaker of there.
Late at night around 3 pm, around three robbers broke the protective net of the temple and entered inside. The old woman was asleep and the robbers first held her hostage and then looted the ornaments and cash from the temple and fled.
After the robbers fled, Sarojben started shouting and passers-by came rushing towards her. Varshaben Chauhan also reached there after the message and informed the Laxmipura police after getting preliminary information from Sarojben. Police immediately rushed to the spot after the details began investigation in the matter.
According to a complaint lodged by temple administrator Varshaben Chauhan about the incident, the gang stole 3 necklaces, four bangles of Bagasara and cash
