Residents of Vadodara complained of foul smelling gas

Congress Councillor Ami Rawat complained the matter to the GPCB and other concerned agencies

Residents of Fatehgunj, Chhani, Karelibaug, Nizampura in Vadodara once again felt the foul smelling gas in their area and complained of suffocation and Burning. They complained to the Congress Councillor Ami Rawat and they in turn complained the matter to the GPCB and other concerned agencies. Earlier in couple of occasions the residents felt the same and representation was made to the collector and other departments for inquiry.

Around midnight the residents of Fatehgunj, Chhani, Karelibaug, Nizampura complained of foul smell in the areas and came out on road to inquire about the reason. Closing their nose with handkerchiefs they tried to find out the reason and also informed the Congress Councillor Ami Rawat who earlier made representions about the same to the collector and other departments.

“The smell is strong and once again the residents felt the effect of foul gas leakage. We immediately informed the concerned authorities and also complained in written to the Collector, GPCB and other departments. The GPCB also confirmed the same and we demand inquiry in the matter to search for the source of the leakage,” said Narendra Rawat senior Congress leader and member Jago Vadodara.
