Real challenge to transform myself for Sanju – Ranbir Kapoor

Sanjay Dutt biopic ‘Sanju’ is well appreciated by the fans as they accept Ranbir Kapoor as the perfect choice to play various shades of the iconic actor. A YouTube clip is launched which shows the efforts by the team to get the perfect look for the movie.

Rajkumar Hirani, Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Ranbir Kapoor all shared their view and challenges in the video which transform the leaner Kapoor to play Macho Sanjay Dutt. The first challenge for the team was to choose a perfect actor to play the role and finalise Ranbir Kapoor. Second challenge was to transform him in terms of physique and looks and then starts the real task to make Ranbir look alike like Sanju.

Ranbir said it’s a real challenge for him to build muscles and hit the gym with discipline and lots of sacrifice. The film shows the journey of Baba and Ranbir had to change himself for 5 to six looks from 20 year youngster to 55 year old man. The most tough was the iconic jail shot which took the makers to the limit. The team of experts tried various looks and after many attempts finally able to get the perfect one.

Ranbir said one of top moment in his life was when the man himself Sanjay Dutt visit him and saw the efforts in the studio.
