Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) will be going to organise two big programmes in Gujarat in the month of November and December where the RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat will be coming to Vadodara on 20th December. The RSS is also hold many programmes in Gujarat after Diwali which many feel that it’s and exercise before the 2017 elections.
RSS Western Zone Secretary Sunil Mehta give details about the programmes in Gujarat coming next two months. ” The first programme is on 11,12 and 13 November where the women from the town areas will visit the tribal areas and interact with the families living there. Around 10,000 ladies will visit 5000 villages falls under 54 Zillas in Gujarat and get details about their living, tradition and other things. The idea is to connect with them,” said Mehta.
Mehta further added that on 20th December RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat will be coming to Baroda in the evening and more details will be provided later. Apart from these two programmes many other upcoming plans were there in Gujarat.
“In Gujarat 1374 daily centers were operational and in addition weekly gathering and Sangh Mandal were doing their work. The Sangh is working towards education, health and social fields in the state and continue it. Last year in Gujarat in 200 places the Samajik Sadbhav Baithak and Sant Sammelan were organised and planning to organize again after Diwali. During Rakshabandhan 1,70,000 people were contacted by the sevaks specially the slum areas,” said Mehta.
He also said that in Surat the Dr. Ambedkar Vanvasi Kalyan Trust is working with the tribal people of Dang and Tapi helped them to save their money by using improved seeds. “The trust is working with the people for last 10 years and they are using hybrid seeds for Dangar. Now with the help of Navsari Agriculture University we provide them improved seeds which helped them to increase production, minimize the cost and we hope they can save nearly 1 crore rupees with this,” said Mehta.
Before that he said about the Akhil Bhartiya Karyakari Mandal which was organised on 23,24 and 25 October at Hyderabad and there many points were discussed. He said in Kerala the CPM attacks on Sangh and other groups were condemned during the meeting. Secondly the vision of Pandit Deendayal Sharma of Integral Humanism was also discussed. Bhaiyaji Joshi also said and condemn the act of by Jehadis in West Bengal, Tamilnadu and Karnataka and accused the government for not taking any measures to stop them.
