Railways through IRCTC is running a special tourist train named "Unity Express" on 31st October

Will run on the inauguration ceremony of Statue of Unity from Rajkot.

On the inauguration ceremony of statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel (Statue of unity) Railways through IRCTC is running a special tourist train named "Unity Express" on 31.10.2018 at 00.50 hrs from Rajkot for Rameshwaram, Madurai, Kanyakumari, Trivendrum, Tirupati, Shirdi and Shani Singnapur. The boarding and de boarding stations will be Rajkot, Surendranagar, Viramgam, Sabarmati, Anand, Vadodara, Bharuch, Surat and Kalyan. Vadodara time is 8:30 am on 31st.

The above tour will be all inclusive of Train Journey, all meals, Sightseeing, transportation, service of Tour escort, security on the train, announcement system, Non AC dormitory/Hall accommodation for night stay and wash and change and others.

The train will be decorated with flowers and there will be two Unity Express stickers pasted above near the entrance gate both side of all the coaches, and one banner will be pasted down the coach in center of the coach both side of all the coaches.

The train will have 16 coaches with one exclusive coach for the purpose of exhibition where photos related to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel will be displayed for passengers.

One umbrella containing the logo of IRCTC and also the picture of Sardar Patel and with Unity express written in bold font will be given to each passengers along with a key chain as a souvenir.

A school student group with tricolor flags in their hand will be greeting the train at Vadodara station.
