Possibility of releasing more than 480 cusecs of water from Dev Dam to maintain rule level

District Collector instructed the Waghodia Mamlatdar to be careful

Due to rains in the catchment area, water is coming into Dev Dam and Vadodara Irrigation Circle has given the information to the District Flood Control Room about release of water to maintain the level. They informed that to maintain the rule level, one door of the dam has to open partially to release 480.99 cusecs of water.

Concerning this, Vadodara District Collector Shalini Agarwal has instructed Waghodia Mamlatdar in the taluka and especially in the riverside villages to take full precaution and take all precautionary measures if necessary.

The people of all the villages living on the banks of the river have been requested not to go to the banks of the river, not to stay and keep the cattle safe.
