The FIR by the Bandra Police has been filed against Sushant’s sisters, Priyanka Singh and Mitu Singh, and Dr Tarun Kumar, an associate professor of cardiology from Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, for abetting suicide, cheating, forgery and criminal conspiracy, the Hindustan Times reported. They have also transferred the case to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).

The FIR says that the accused “hatched a conspiracy and obtained false prescription on the letterhead of a government hospital for a banned medicine which is annexed under the NDPS Act and administered the same without supervising doses and quantity which may result in a chronic anxiety attack and which resulted in the commission of suicide.”

In her complaint, Rhea referred to WhatsApp chats between Sushant and Priyanka on June 8 that “are extremely disturbing and disclose the commission of various offences”. She added that in these messages, Priyanka advised Sushant to take various medications controlled under the NDPS Act.

Rhea said in her complaint that she told the late actor not to take these medicines as he is already under medication. “I say that the Deceased and I disagreed on this aspect and he insisted that he would only take the medicine his sister was prescribing him,” the complaint read.
